Live KC is an organization in Kansas City with the purpose of trying to make the city a more attractive place to live for millennials. Fiery Stick Open was one of their first larger scale events, set to take place on the lawn of Liberty Memorial on Friday July 18, 2014. It featured yard games like bocce ball, badminton and even life-sized beer pong. The real attraction however was the chance to win $1 million with a hole-in-one shot on a 170-yard, par-3 golf hole carved into north lawn of the Liberty Memorial. Even local athletes like Sporting Kansas City’s Graham Zusi, Dom Dwyer and Matt Besler came out to take a swing on the green.
