The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2013 annual report for this blog. Here’s an excerpt: A San Francisco cable car holds 60 people. This blog was viewed about 1,900 times in 2013. If it were a cable car, it would take about 32 trips to carry that many people. Click here to see the complete report. Advertisements
I was able to volunteer my time to shoot the first night of the Kansas City Fashion Week on October 3rd, 2013 at Union Station. It was a great experience; one that I had not done before and was a learning experience as well. With being a good distance away from the runway, an external flash does not really help […]
I had the chance to take one of Chuck Arlund’s photography workshops this past weekend; this one in particular focused on using an external flash off the camera to achieve different light patterns. The workshop was very helpful in teaching about different ways to light models and how to get certain looks.

I have now attended Bonnaroo 3 years in a row–making the switch to an RV was key. Since this post I have also added another year of Lollapalooza, attended Coachella for the first time and shot my first festival in Alabama–Hangout Fest. What can I say, not only do I love live music but love the experience a festival provides** It is no secret I like two things…no LOVE two things: music and concerts. Being a Chicago resident I have attended Lollapalooza the last 2 years but I wanted to explore new fests. Last summer I was able to go to Denver Mile High and in the past have attended others like: Country Stampede, Wakarusa, Bleeding Kansas, Summerfest and Austin City Limits. This year I was determined to finally make it Bonnaroo (http://www.bonnaroo.com/). To sum it up: it was an experience. It is located an hour outside of Nashville, TN on a 700-acre farm in Manchester. It feels more like moving in short-term than camping the way the campsites are broken into neighborhoods […]
